It is clear-cut that the theme is good triumphs over evil. In this paragraph, I can prove that Nagaina, Nag, and Karait are the evil in this story. First off, Karait thinks he is all big and bad when really he is just a show …show more content…
In this allegory, the parents are generous enough to let a wild animal come into the house. They feed Rikki and cared for him. They also let him have free roam of the living space, and he could eat anything he wanted. Even though he didn’t really eat. Another case as in to why Rikki is a marvelous character is the way he acts protective. The protagonist of the story risked his life so many times just to save his family. For example, he risked his life over the most dangerous snake in the garden, Karait. This was Rikkis first time fighting a snake, so he most definitely risked his life. The parents play the role ‘protective’ in this story as well. They let a wild animal sleep with their son, Teddy. Addition to the good side is the braveness that comes out of the characters. First off, Nagaina did love her babies with all her heart as far as we know, but she left them so she could go and try to kill the family. Which, if you ask me, is not very love-like. She technically left the protagonist to kill the youngsters. Another logic is that Nag did love Nagaina, and though Nag thought she loved him back, she didn’t. She threw Nag under the bus when they were planning the plot in the bathroom. Since Nagaina left, Nag was the only one to die and it seemed that Nagaina didn’t care too much about it. Moving on, Darzee and Darzee’s wife had fondness for each other, but the wife often called Darzee hard headed or something rude. These are just some of the facts that prove love triumphs over all is not the
