Rikki-Tikki-Tavi is a brave mongoose in the story. The story is written by rudyard kipling. Naginia is a smart and protective. This theme is love and protection. Both characters both portray protecting and love for the babies.

First of all Rikki-Tikki-Tavi is brave and protective. He shows bravery when he fights Nag in the bathroom. This shows that he is capable of overcoming his fear. Then he kills Nag and saves the dad.

Then Naginia has kids and and is married (his head whizzed by the head of Naginia, her wicked husband) (kipling 8) thats evidence from the story. They have a son named karait but he gets killed by Rikki. They also have babies waiting in the melon patch being ready to hatch.

Finally the theme of the story is family comes
