Three weeks later on a rainy day at the bungalow in India, Rikki is worrying about Teddy. Teddy, the kid at the bungalow, has been sick for two days. There’s not much that Rikki can do, though. The next day Chuchundra the muskrat has bad news for Rikki. “There is an egg Rikki in the snakehole.”, He says. So Rikki goes to look for himself but finds nothing. “I thought you said you saw an egg, there's nothing down there.” “I did.” Said Chuchundra. So Chuchundra and Rikki go back to the to the garden. Rikki tells everyone that it's ok and there is no egg this triggers Chuchundra. “There is an egg down there i saw it, but if you don't believe me then i will just leave!” Rikki’s eyes are flaming red now. “Fine then leave!” …show more content…
They left the garden early in the morning but could not find any trace of Chuchundra. Now Rikki feeling worse than ever has to return to the garden with his friend still missing. On their way back Darzee finds a white thing right outside the snake hole. “Rikki what is this white thing right here?” Drazee ask. Rikki goes to where Darzee is pointing and sees it. After a while he realizes what it is. “Wait, this is a piece of a snake egg!” Rikki yells. At that moment a snake comes out of the snake hole. “I am Ripper and I have come to avenge my parents.” He hisses. Rikki with fiery, red eyes strikes at the snake, but he is to fast and slithers away into the hole. When they get back to the garden Rikki is thinking about what would happen if Chuchundra runs into the snake. “We have to find that snake before he runs into …show more content…
After a while they found a snake skin from Ripper shedding. Darzee’s wife flew overhead for a better view, then she saw him. “Rikki I see him.” She yells down. “Where.” Rikki yells back up. “He is over by the long grass.” She says. When they get over there Ripper is waiting for them. “You were a fool to chase me because i have the grass to my advantage.” He hisses. At that moment he slithers away into the tall grass, but Rikki knows what he is planning. Moments later Ripper strikes from the tall grass, but Rikki knowing this would happen jumps and dodges his strike, but Ripper hits Darzee’s wife in the leg breaking it. This sets Rikki into overdrive so he pounces on Rippers head and then Rikki slings Ripper around slamming him into the ground until he knows that he is dead. Now he turns to Darzee to make sure his wife is ok. When he is sure she is they return home, but it takes them all day to get back home. Now that they’re back Rikki sits back to watch the sunset, then across the horizon he sees Chuchundra’s shadow pass across the
