Paying lots of money for something is hard enough, but imagine spending that money on something that isn’t being used. Your money has basically been thrown out the window. This is how many parents of college students felt, but the twist is, is that they didn’t know about it. Therefore many parents felt betrayed and angry at their children when they got that one phone call saying, “Your child hasn’t been attending college for the past two years, they never graduated”. When a parent or guardian is paying for their child to go to school and get a good education, they should have all legal rights of knowing how they are doing in school, even if they are legally an adult or eighteen years of age.
