Right Place To Stand

Decent Essays
In life u need to find a proper place to stand. U just can't stand next to ppl, waste ur time messing around them and not knowing who u are or what u mean to them ! U just can't stand next to ppl and always be their option or backup plan. What I'm saying is not what I'm trying to tell you to keep wondering ur self-worth or priority but I want u to stop putting urself in situation where u are not sure of where u stand in ppl's lives. I want u to start searching for the right place to put ur feet in and stand firm. And if u're constantly having to wonder where you belong in their lives, then it's time to begin with a single step and make a move. It's time to stop standing and start walking. No reason to stay is always a good reason to leave.

At least once in your life you have probably heard something along the lines of, “stand up for what you believe in even if you are standing alone,” or, “do what is right, even if you are doing it alone.” It is common advice given, but not as common followed. Many people choose to side with whatever most people are siding with, often because they are scared to do it alone or draw attention. As shown in both “In the Silence” by Peggy S. Curry and The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian by Sherman Alexie, characters are brave because they stand up for both themselves and what they believe in, even when standing alone. First, in “In the Silence”, Jimmy takes a stand, talking back to Angus Duncan.…

This damage to the trust shared between husband and wife cannot be fixed or replaced; even if the spouses never find out the two must live with the knowledge their misdeeds.…

This concept is something I truly detest growing up as the only girl in a house full of boys. I refuse to be treated as second class citizen that is why I tend to be independent and I never ask for help. But unfortunately all human beings were created to depend upon each other in order to survive so I am working on depending upon others. Another problem I see myself dealing with is when starting new relationships I tend to idealize others or to an extreme extent where I idolize the other person. Therefore when I find the other person is not perfect I immediately take a step back and retract back into my shell to deal with the disappointment.…

Little things which did not cause you stress before are now being magnified by the smallest actions of others may be an indicator to re-evaluate where you are and try to become centered once again. When your body, mind, and spirit are no longer in harmony your inner balance will be off as well. It will be difficult to recognize and take responsibility when acting against someone who may be in the line of your unhappiness. Bringing yourself back to basics and reflecting on why you have chosen the path in life you have taken will help place things in perspective.…
