REPORTER: The reporter/father (Brian) called about concerns for the victim, Ridgeland. One week ago, the reporter noticed that Ridgeland had a bruise on his back (right shoulder); the child wouldn’t say where the bruise came from. The reporter said the child told him that Nick moved out of the home, and he (Nick) said he should’ve left 21/2 years ago. The reporter notified the principal at Church Hill about the bruise and told them that they would not be able to see it, due to the child having on a shirt. Brian didn’t report the incident sooner, due to working and being in school. The reporter said he believes they (mom and Nick) were fussing and the child got in the way.
