Rick Scott
Rick Scott, born in Bloomington, Virginia, is a graduate of the university of Missouri and a Republican businessman and Politician. After graduating, Scott joined the United States Navy, where he gained leadership experience. When he left the army, he joined the Dallas firm, Johnson & Swanson as a partner. Along with two other partners He co-founded the for-profit company, Columbia Hospital Corporation. After the Hospital ran into some charges on felony, Rick Scott resigned his position as a cheif exceutive. By doing so, no charges were made on Scott, although he himself did not do anything wrong. In 2010, Scott decided to run for Florida Governor, and succeeded by defeating his Republican rival, Bill Mcollum, and defeated the Democratic representative, Alex Sink. He was the 45th Governor of Florida. He is running again to be the Governor of Florida.

Crist was formerly a Republican that was member of the Florida senate from 1993 to 1999, and failed to get re-elected for a second term. After, he became Florida Education Commisioner, and then became the Florida Attorney General, gradually rising up in his position. He ran to become the Governor of Florida in 2007, and won. He decided to not re-run again to become the Governor, and pursued a place in the US Senate. It was during this race that he left the Republican party and became an Independent. After losing the r ace to Marco Rubio, Crist became a member o the Democratic party, and decided to re-run to become the Governor of
