Iron Man. Super Man. Captain America. These mythical superheroes are not the only heroes in the world. I believe that the Heroes are made in the moment, because Heroes can not plan when chaos will happen, can not practice giving up your lives, and it is us to you to save a life or not. Heroes can not plan for consumptive chaos. In the text, it states that even though Rescorla did not have to help others out, he done it out of dauntlessness. Rick Rescorla was not trained to go and help the people that needed help, and to keep them calm he sang a little song to them. As stated in the text by Bos’s, “Trying to keep people calm, under such incredibly stressful circumstances, Rescorla began singing inspirational songs.” Here, the text proves …show more content…
Rescorla would have rathered sacrifice his own life then let someone else lose theirs. In Bos’s text, it says “A soldier to the end, he would never leave anyone behind, even if it meant sacrificing his own life.” The text proves, Rescorla would rather save a life than make sure he was okay. People may have the talent, but it takes a real hero to step up and use the talent. People may have all the training and talent to do what they are supposed to do, but if you do not use it then there's no reason to have it. You could train for years, but if you are not ready mentally it is no good. In Murphys text, “Yet, few succeed--perhaps because most give up before they even get started.” Some people back down when they see what they have to face. There are many odds about this also. Even Though I believe that Heroes are product of the moment, others believe that Heroes are shaped for what they do. Practice makes perfect. In Bos’s text it states, “instead, Rick developed and emergency evacuation of plan which he required the Morgan Stanley employees to practice over and over.” Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard, people keep on no matter what.
