Richard's Response Alice Park, the author of "Teens Are Just as Sedentary as 60 Year Olds" states,"The most alarming data came from children and teens"(4). Teens are not exercising enough each day but rather than just stay home all day doing noting. Children/teens should at least do something that involves exercising which is better than just staying home being inactive all day. First, fitness is important during the teen years. Some teens are just as sedentary as 60 year olds. According to article one it explains, "In fact, 19 year olds spent as much time being inactive and sedentary as 60 year olds"(Park 23-24). This shows that teens are not very physically active as they are supposed to and get more lazy. So this why fitness is important
