What is the possibility that you could sell your latest Instagram post for $100,000? I think I am a very good looking guy but not that good looking to where someone would want to purchase it for that much. Richard Prince is an American artist who is doing just that. He is taking Instagram posts and altering them a bit and selling them for thousands of dollars. Prince is a notorious copycat artist who has made a very good living off of this. Now, one might ask, how is this man copying stuff from other people and making money? That is a very good question. For that, I will answer it in this paper. I will explore Richard Princes past, his legal actions, his current suits and allegation and I will speak about fair use/copy right infringement/appropriation
