Disney world is a place where dreams come true. When I was a child, I got to visit Disney World every year. I stumble upon Main Street USA after Strolling through the magical gates. The theme of Main Street USA takes me back in time to the early 20th century small-town America, As I wander down Main Street, I can see a vintage barbershop, charming little shops, and an old-fashioned movie theatre. The end of Main Street USA is the center of the park Cinderella’s enchanting castle, and center of the park.…

Walt Disney World Versus Universal Studios Orlando Orlando, Florida is the most popular tourist destination for families and teens seeking theme parks. From the time I was a little girl, the most exciting part of the year was when my mom would reveal our summer trip. It was either Universal and Islands of Adventure or Disney World; and both were equally exciting. Out of the multitude of Orlando theme parks, Universal Studios and Walt Disney World are the two most attended. Hunt for the Wilderpeople Film Taika Waititi ‘Hunt for the Wilderpeople’ is about a young troubled adolescent boy, named Ricky. After years of being thrown around countless foster homes at the age of 13 years old, Ricky feels he has found himself a stable family environment. But with a disturbance in the family and his backyard being hundreds of miles worth of native bush, troubles arise and he finds himself running from authorities, as they are on a manhunt after suspecting Ricky has been kidnapped. Two main themes which stood out to me as a Maori viewer living between my two parents homes were how stereotypical barriers create an image for people in today’s society and how ‘family’ influence a child’s development growing up. I felt close to Ricky as he is the perfect portrayal of a young Maori boy..…
