President Donald Trump has unleashed another early morning Monday Tweets attacjing Sen. Richard Blumenthal "vietnam record." This came as a result of Blumenthal's open support on CNN for the investigation into the alleged Russian collision tin last years election.

Sen. Blumenthal said,"politicizing the Department of Justice for personal ends, I think, is a disservice to the law, and it’s also potentially a violation of the spirit of the First Amendment." This attack from Sen. Blumenthal got under the President skin, and unlike the predients, Trump. fired back on social media

However army records conclude that he obtained five military deferments and took several steps to avoid any military service. When his last deferment wa sin jeopardy of not being approved, Blumenthal joined the Marine Reserves which guaranteed him no deployment to Vietnam. Over the next few years he has corrected his comments in interviews, but seemingly asserts the same record that he served in recent appearances.

Nevertheless, President Trump has seen a correlation between his alleged Russia collusion and Blumenthal's "misleading comments about his military records. Trump states that " Never in US history has anyone lied or defrauded voters like Sen. Blumenthal," and," he cried like a baby and begged for forgiveness like a child. Now he judges collusion?"
