Rich and Famous Criminal Justice
If someone commits a crime, shouldn't they be convicted? Obviously, so why do celebrities get special treatment when they do? The rich and famous committing a crime is just as awful as anyone else acting on it. They should not get off the hook just because they have money. A murderer is a murderer. A felon is a felon. Everyone should be treated equally when it comes to the justice of victims and their families.
No doubt, high class citizens get away with more offenses than the average human. While the lower class can spend decades in jail and rot away for an offense, the 'superior' group gets away with very little consequences, because money corrupts the legal system. Strangely enough, there were many signs of evidence that clarified he was, indeed, the killer. At the scene of the crime, bloody shoe prints were discovered, which matched Simpson's shoe size and blood was found on the car handle of his Bronco. In addition, a "pair of dark, crumpled socks (were) found at the foot of Simpson's bed; DNA tests found the genetic markers of Simpson and his ex-wife." It's ironic, though, that after all of this evidence was found and tested, OJ Simpson was found not guilty. Due to his lawyers defensive argument and placing orders in Simpson's favor, he never spent a second in jail. Furthermore, the jury sympathized with Simpson due to his charismatic personality and how distraught he appeared to be when he found out about her death. Money was just one of the factors in his case, fame being the other. Simpson had the jury eating out of the palm of his hand, which is why he ended up being a free
