Rice; a highly prestigious university that has everything to offer, or so it seems. I believe that times are changing and that Rice is now missing a key component (one that many schools are beginning to offer).

As time progresses forward, more and more people join the online world. Whether it be console or pc gaming, esports is the future. Hundreds of thousands of people watch as their favorite player (or team) versus a rival player (or team). Rice is not only missing an opportunity of being a trailblazer among the first universities to host an esports team but is also missing opportunities of utilizing its golden student base; students who are most likely already gaming during their spare time.
