In a literary work it should not be always just entertaining but at the same time useful and the readers are educating their selves while reading the text itself. The poem “The Road Not Taken” is not just an entertaining poem but at the same time it symbolizes the human experiences in life. A person might come to the point that he has to choose between two unlike things, he may want the both of them but he cannot have them both. The poem also teaches the readers to develop self confidence and to trust himself and to his instincts. In the poem the traveller is having a hard time figuring out which road to choose to continue his journey. The poem teaches the readers to make a difference. It is not easy to walk along the road all alone without anyone at your side, but life is also about taking risk, according to a quote from Veronica Roth, “There are so many ways to be brave in this world. Sometimes bravery involves laying down your life for something bigger than yourself, or for someone else. Sometimes it involves giving up everything you have ever known or everyone you have ever loved, for the sake of something greater”. We often choose the one that most people do, since the spirit of adventure could be surrounded by fear and suspense, but that makes the difference, when we choose a unique way, try a new path and be the
