The cause of rheumatoid arthritis is having your immune system mistakenly start attacking the synovium- the lining of the membrane that surrounds your joints. The symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis is having pain in your joints, back, or muscle. Joints can feel stiff, swell, weaken, and become tender. The skin can also become red and form lumps. You may also feel a loss of appetite and may experience a small fever. It may also damage your eyes, lungs, heart and blood vessels.
