6. I chose to use rhetorical mode of process analysis to explain how homemade tortellini soup is made because it is a complicated procedure with many steps. There are many details to making tortellini soup that a beginner might miss or not understand if they are not informed of them ahead of time. My essay is structured in chronological order because it is easiest for the reader to follow. This process takes place over three days, so each day has its own paragraph and main idea. The first day is making the dough and meat, the second day is creating the tortellini, and the last day is cooking the soup. In the introduction, I tell why making tortellinis from scratch is important. In the conclusion, I reiterate the steps and main idea of the essay.
