Is Kakutani’s point right or is it wrong? Jon Stewart, a moderate comedian, delivers cable news The Daily Show with witty dialogue to charm people. His job is amusing the audience rather than informing them. Not to mention, today’s Comedy Central program The Daily Show with Jon Stewart carries a broader perspective of how the audience should understand society. With this in mind, many divergent audiences enjoy watching The Daily Show more than any other cable news in television. Stewart delivers a clear, brief comment to the audience, on the other hand the cable news made the audience to turmoil. As matter of fact, The Daily Show made the public question why many cable news are so constricted and uncomfortable. Of course, The Daily Show’s influence is a more positive environment than the cable news. Therefore, I agree with Kakutani’s point that John Stewart deliver more clear-cut information

During the interview, Stewart is ludicrous and thoughtful which always catches the commentator’s attention. Stewart responded, “Stop, stop, stop, stop hurting America. You have a responsibility to the public discourse, and you failed miserably. You’re doing theatre when you should be doing debate.” (1) They tried to argue back by mocking Stewart but ended up mocking themselves. He threw back a statement by saying that he came here to support the media and many of his coworkers claim that Crossfire program gives negative impact. Such as many audience thought that this shows focused on scripted dialogue rather than responding with their opinion. Therefore, many audience can’t take anymore watching this shows. Above well, this interview has been well known in the media and caused to cancel the program in a year. He became one of the influenced persons in the media by stating that what many audiences can’t handle watching this television
