People tend to shy away from talking about things that are uncomfortable to talk about. The act of taking someone’s life should not be taken lightly. How can someone as imperfect as a humans have the power to take someone else’s life. America is a God fearing country, which can be simply shown by the statement on our currency “In God We Trust”. God giveth life and God should be the only one with power to take it away. What about the prisoners that were wrongly convicted you cannot bring them back after they are dead. We all make mistakes or do things we should not have done, but that is okay because no one is perfect. “For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction” (Newton’s Third Law). So again if Trump is truly concerned with the lives of the US he would create a system which devotes its resources into deeply analyzing the psychological effects of criminals and not just writing them off because that’ the cheapest and easiest thing to

Andrew Jackson was the seventh president of the United States of America, he served two terms as a Democratic Republican from 1829-1837. The entire Jackson campaign not only started up revolutionary political election tactics such as rallies, parades, and lavish dinners that supporters paid for, but it also sparked up a whole new era of mass democracy, and gave birth to the political party that we now know as the “Democrats”. Mr. Jackson considered himself, a president for the people, with a strong personal stance on a capitalist democracy, he was a forceful leader not afraid to use his veto vote when he felt passionate about a certain issue. When it came to domestic policy Jackson was a very proud man, who some say let his personal views influence…

The slogan that propelled Donald Trump into his influence across the nation, “make America great again,” shows that Trump sees America has fallen downhill and has hopes to improve it. Trump wants to see this country go back to the prosperous country it once was, but he does not know how to filter his words according to most, which makes him seem frightening. Despite Clinton’s accusation about the risk of Donald Trump, his clever use of scare tactics gives voters a sense of security because of his ideas concerning immigration and terrorism. According to Molly Ball, author of “Donald Trump and the Politics of Fear,” Donald Trump uses fear to his advantage in hopes of winning the presidential election.…

Trump has issued new executive orders that have shocked not only Americans, but also people from all over the world. Basically what these orders are to do is that they are intended to ban Muslims from seven countries from entering the United States. Even those who have been living in America for quite a while are to be deported to their countries. What is more devastating is that students who had their student visas from their home countries to come study in the USA are no more welcomed here and have to face these new abnormal orders. I think the new executive order is definitely intended to discriminate against Muslims because there were no terrorist attacks performed from people who are from these 7 countries in the U.S.…

In Coulter’s editorial, “Trump: The Great Unifier!”, she delivers the claim that Tump unifies Americans with his immigration positions, unlike the Democrats, the white liberals, or the previous Republicans; she asserts he treats illegal immigrants like “Americans”, rather than victims. Coulter provides valid points, but that does not make her editorial correct in any form. Logos appeal is used when Coulter states Compton changed to a Mexican majority, but Coulter’s assertion that this occurred because “Mexicans moved in and decided they wanted blacks out” is not supported with any facts or data, making it unreliable. Continuing, she presents logo appeal with Anderson’s opinion on illegal immigrants “taking jobs” because he could not get a job…

“(We have) more to do for the young woman in East St. Louis, and thousands more like her, who has the grades, has the drive, has the will, but doesn’t have the money to go to college (Obama, para 6).” Interestingly, he follows this statement with an attempt to dissatisfy one of the commonplace arguments against liberal policies. Mr. Obama says that these people do not ‘expect that government will solve all of their problems,’ but that they are willing to work hard in order to achieve their dreams. This seems to solidify Obama’s ethos with the audience, especially when combined with the specific scenarios that he uses to exemplify the need for his policies. The middle section of the speech is dedicated to the 2004 Presidential Election.…

De Blasio Says Murder of Timothy Caughman is ‘Clearly Related to Rhetoric of Donald Trump’ New York City liberal Mayor Bill de Blasio finally speaks about the horrific killing of a black homeless man by a white supremacist in Midtown Manhattan as a “domestic racist terrorism” that is “clearly related to the rhetoric of Donald Trump.” “This is domestic, racist terrorism,” de Blasio said on his weekly #AskTheMayor radio segment with Brian Lehrer. “The challenge here is that a dynamic of hatred has been growing in this country over the last year or more. It’s particularly come out in the open after the election and it’s clearly related to the rhetoric of Donald Trump and even other candidates during the Presidential election that have unleashed forces of…

I would vote for Donald Trump because Trump wants to eliminate Obamacare and substitute free market solutions. Hillary wants single-payer healthcare which is wrong for many reasons. The biggest of which is that healthcare becomes a commodity and even more than in Obamacare the government controls what medical procedures are possible. Obamacare is a disaster, Trump will replace it with a free-market based system. Trump will lower taxes even on the middle class and Hillary is apparently going be raising taxes on everyone including middle class.…

Making America Hate Again To be able to vote is undoubtedly one of the greatest aspects about the United States of America. The ability to chose our leaders and practice a democracy is something citizens of other countries only dream of having. Because of this freedom, Americans should always vote during the elections, especially this year’s Presidential election. This election is an especially unique one; the Republican candidate is a businessman with no political experience, while the Democratic candidate is a woman with decades of experience in politics. No matter the outcome, history will be made.…

Donald Trump has a dominant extrovert personality where he speaks before analyzing the impact his words can create. For example, on multiple occasions he has proposed building a wall on the Mexican border creating a divide between the Hispanic and the non- Hispanic population of USA. He has strongly supported the view that ALL illegal immigrants are of bad character and somehow are cause of increased crimes in USA. All his claims are not just preposterous but also based on weak assumptions. This and many such examples show that he is an extrovert whose behavior is generally disagreeable to majority population.…

Donald Trump is an egotistical maniac that must not be president. Trump is a man so unqualified to be president that I think even a five-year-old can do a better job than he can. America has stooped so low into electing this crazy orange man that I don’t even think I can see rock bottom anymore. Trump is a sexist, racist, self-centered, egotistical baby who is only looking out for himself and throws little tantrums on Twitter whenever someone offends him. This doesn’t even scratch the surface of who this man really is.…

The United States of America can be considered a nation of immigrants, where the door is open for everyone; however, some people wish to close the door. Donald Trump, a candidate to become president, is an example of a person who wish to close the door. He gave a speech in Phoenix, Arizona claiming that illegal immigrants are causing problems in the country. The speech was benefitting his campaign in gaining votes, rallying the public for support, and discouraging the American public to not vote for his opponent, Hillary Clinton. Trump supported his claim of the United States having an illegal immigration problem by using ethos and pathos in his speech; however, his speech contain fallacies.…
