Social media has constructively shown a clear rhetorical analysis of my digital identity. Social media does not provide my whole life in an image, but it shows the hobbies I enjoy partaking in. Several appeals make up the digital identity an audience can view via my social media. An ethical appeal would be seen by an audience due to the pride I take for conservation and wildlife management in the outdoors. With a clean reputation in the outdoors an audience can trust my words and views through a logical appeal. An emotional appeal can show an audience my love and appreciation from the deep ocean waters to the backcountry. I donate my hard earned money to several outdoor clubs such as, Ducks Unlimited, Quality Deer Management Association, National Wildlife Turkey Federation, and the Saltwater Sports club. All of these clubs were created by conservationist to help reconstruct new habitat and prevent future destruction of wildlife by donations. Due to my experience in the outdoors and involvement in conservation clubs, an audience would benefit by this as an ethical appeal.
Although I am still gaining new learnings in wildlife, an audience can see this as a logical appeal due to my reputation and heavy interest in the outdoors. Throughout all of my experiences fishing and hunting, I have never once been accused by the Department of Natural Resources for any harm to wildlife or the outdoors. I stress ethical clean shots to hunters and to not pollute the ocean with litter to fishermen. I have a great respect to mother nature and would never have any intentions of diminishing an ecosystem. I have partook in over a decade of hunting and fishing and have gained much knowledge of how the patterns of wildlife work annually. To conclude, the outdoors provides an outlet to the public to get away, help, and cherish nature which cannot be taken away.
The purpose of my social media is to provide the audience to see a world they have never seen before and teach them the importance of wildlife. I have worked on a charter boat during the summer as a first mate out of Charleston, South Carolina for the last three years. Our boat fished five times per week going fifty or more miles offshore. Throughout these experiences I have seen things the majority of the world will never get to experience. Hunting has taught me several life lessons that will never be forgotten. I put out trail cameras and keep them running throughout the course of the year. Trail cameras are motioned cameras hung on a tree that provides a clear video of whatever species of animal is in front of the camera. It is amazing watching the certain behaviors each species provides. The wildlife is an amazing resource to capture natures greatest cycles and something that should never to be taken granted
