Rhetor uses his ethos, pathos, and logos to persuade that free college should go to students who actually need the help to attend school by being pro-welfare. Bruenig gives credibility by researching free college how the rich gain from the benefits of having free college consequently the poor remain the same causing an unequal balance. Writer appeal to emotion tone of injustice between the rich and poor because with free college the rich are able to fill their pocket with money.
