Montag values positive traits in Clarisse Mc Clean. She 's outstanding and in some way different than the others. She likes the simple affairs in life, e.g. the nature and not watching the walls. She thinks about everything and anything and thus she 's very intelligent and intellectual. Montag and Clarisse have some things in common. In addition, she is curious, eager to learn and shows interest. She asks Montag a lot of clever questions which make him think about his life.
