It is common knowledge that school receive funding based on students ' collective test scores. It is also common knowledge that the funding is used towards materials, furnishing, and the occasional special event. How about using some of it to improve test scores? By improving each students ' grades, test scores will naturally rise with them. This will lead to more funding. If one wonders how to improve grades, perhaps start with a reward system for good grades. First, students can be substantially drained and stressed by school, so compensation for the hard work would be logical. Next, when a child is rewarded for something, they will be likely to keep repeating that behavior, like being rewarded for good grades. A reason a school would be inclined to reward students is because it can lead to better test scores and, ultimately, more funding. For students, they don 't always have support systems to kindle a drive to learn, so rewards from school for achievement could be just enough to kindle that drive. Last, there are plenty of options to choose from, and they are not all very expensive, so administration just needs to get creative.
