During the time of the Revolutionary war the U.S colonies experienced significant hardship and significant government problems.There are many issues that I could write about in essay but I feel that some are not important. I'm going to pick the ones that I feel that are most important to United States History . Taxes on imported goods were extremely unreasonable.Throughout the seventeenth century, the American colonies depended on imports for a wide range of consumer goods. The cost of imports was significantly more than colonial exports. The government wanted to make as much money as possible with as little effort as possible which we still see today.
