I condone your response to the actions of these soldiers. Attempting to give them the benefit of the doubt and seek to forgive them. However, surely this tragic even must not go without repercussions. Upon their arrival to the American colonies, the British soldiers made no attempt to grow friendly relations with the colonists. Instead forcefully claiming possession of buildings to be used as barracks for themselves. They created many quarrels and it is rumored that they fired loaded muskets into public streets putting peaceable citizens in harms way.
