I am highly inspired by music. To me both music and design have very similar aspects. Both have rhythms, quiet moments, intense moments, moments that excite one’s soul, moments that cause one to question things and both can even invoke thoughts beyond our own existence and time. Design and music both have rhythm, crescendos, pauses and juxtapositions of elements that make up a composition.
Motivated to create thought provoking spaces that are comfortable and familiar yet fresh and inspiring.

The purpose of this body of work was to address medication errors and safe medication administration practices in relation to practicing nurses and nursing students via several different approaches. These different approaches will be presented as three separate papers but interrelated themes. The specific purpose for each paper and the corresponding research questions were addressed individually in each chapter. The approach used in the first paper was a systematic literature search of medication administration errors and the pediatric population; five themes emerged including the incidence rate of medication administration errors, specific medications involved in medication administration errors and classification of the errors, why medication…

Introduction Definitions of intelligence vary among scholars, theorists, and laypersons, due to its multidimensionality. Two intelligence tests in which I recently had the opportunity to take and score included the Shipley Institute of Living Scale-2 and the Wonderlic Personnel Test.…

For my final portfolio, I chose to revise a shorter essay, “Potential Ramifications of a Trump Presidency,” and a longer essay, “Assignment 7: Finding Place Research Project.” I chose these two essays specifically because of their differences. The former is shorter, more informal, and includes more of my thoughts and opinions. The latter is a longer research paper, and thus is more formal and less biased as I attempted to give a brief history of gentrification and its impacts on East Liberty.…

Twelve weeks later, my first college writing course completed, and to my pleasant almost surprise, I feel as though I have bettered myself in writing. If you look back at my Mid-term Reflection, walking into my first undergraduate writing class was a little unsettling. Was I going to be totally on top of everything the professor threw at us students or was I going to be completely unprepared? Rhetoric and Composition 103 was neither one nor the other, but a writing class that took what I knew and what I did not to create a well-rounded writer. By the time Mid-term’s rolled around, I could already see a change in my skills as a writer.…

Final Summative Reflection What assignments/topics created the greatest impression on you in a positive manner? Explain The lesson that created the most impact in a positive manner was the family staff relationships, and virtual field experience. In currently working in a school setting it gave me better tools to be more effective when having conversations with parents or other staff members.…

During the fall/winter 2013 terms, my grades were dramatically impacted by the imbalance of school, work, and home life. Before these terms, I was struggling with my own mental health, and sought out help at the York University Counseling and Disability Centre. Where I had four months of counseling with Susan Yorke, while I was attending summer school.
