Critic’s Review
The Son of Neptune by Rick Riordan follows the alternative POVs of Percy, Hazel, and Frank on a quest to save the god Thanatos from confinement. This fantasy and adventure novel is something I recommend to everyone because of the added humor, action, and the mix of Romand and Greek mythology. Although some of the events in this novel can not happen in real life, there are some issues the characters deal with personally that make them relatable. I believe that everyone has faced or will encounter a moment where they’ve been under an enormous amount of pressure that made them doubt themselves.
