As a result of my direct involvement and gratification in students' academic success, research, and clinical work, I am confident that I want to pursue a doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Supervision to assume a position of leadership. This degree would assist me in obtaining leadership roles, to include preparing future students for the field and conducting research to enhance the counseling profession. I have a strong aspiration to study components that influence the development of counselors’ professional identity. Moreover, a degree from the School of Psychology & Counseling would aid in the enhancement of my personal and professional identity.
