There were 92,800,000 Internet searched keywords that are a combination of “dark”, “visitor attraction” and “London” (Powell & Iankova, 2016). Dark tourism is when individuals travel to sites of human tragedy. London Dungeon, ranked as the most popular attraction, offers interactive shows during the “play” featuring the infamous Sweeney Todd, Henry VIII, and more. These attractions are inauthentic because they are recreations of the imaginary events inspired by the history. Legendary stories such as the walking tour for Jack the Ripper is also another popular dark tourist attraction. All of these mentioned above have a primary goal of providing entertainment for tourism
