According to Thomas Frank “Commodify Your Dissent”, Frank’s contention that marketing no longer promotes conformity but rather promotes “never ending self-fulfillment” and “constantly updated individualism” (Frank 153). I agree with author because the world is always changing days by days. Obviously, people should not stay in the same way. Be more active. Indeed, companies want to sell more products, so marketing departments always want to bring something new and different to customers. In addition, they desire to have some special product to compete with others company. Moreover, they want to show people that their products always better than others. The lady look very attractive because she used to wear Hugo boss perfume. With the short advertising, Hugo boss have received all attention form people with black dressing. The slogan “Hugo do not imitate, be innovate” make people want to try their products to see how different. Furthermore, people also want to try Adidas product after watching their short advertisement. They mention that if people wear their shoes, they will run faster, control the ball easier, and especially being different with others. Moreover, we easy to find that people usually change their phone because they want to become different than others. That is normal for the recently coming year, but people will think that is abnormal if it happened ten years before. Indeed, nowadays, people always want to try new things; even though they already have it.
