The Great Outdoors

The sweet smell
Of the outdoors
Melts to my nose.
Flowers bloom
As the wind brushes
Against the beds
And fades
Into the mist.
Trees sway
As butterflies dance
In the soothing wind.
Bushes rustle
While ladybugs scamper
Over the leave.
Cattails kneel
In the breeze,
While birds chirp
From their nest
High up in the apple tree.
How sweet that all of this
Belongs to me.
