The Illusionist is released in 2006 and produced by Neil Burger, it stars Edward Norton as an professional illusionist, Eisenheim, with supernatural powers that amaze all the people from Vienna and become really popular with huge critics to him about being an impostor magician. However, he manages to show that all his magic tricks are real.
The plot involves an old love between Eisenheim and Sophie, which was separated because of the critics he received from Sophie´s noble family. Eisenheim managed to meet Sophie again by making many magic shows to attract the eyes and interest from Sophie´s family. After he gained popularity, he chose Sophie to make an amazing magic trick and then, it's the moment when he start his big plan full of illusions.
