The Suicide That Didn’t Make Sense
Richard Cory poem interests me because of the fact that he had a marvelous life in my opinion and just threw it all away by killing himself. If I had that life I would savor it and never let any minutes of my life go to waste. The poem relates to a lot of events that happen like the shooting in Vegas because after he injured a lot of people and killed a couple people he shot himself in the head to end it all, not only that but they said the guy who did it had a good life. This is why I chose Richard Cory poem.
The meaning of the poem is even if people are having the best life someone can ever live, they can still feel depressed and have suicidal thoughts and not even show signs of
