Maybe You Scare Them Because You Know What You Want Maybe you scare them because you’re assertive. Because you don’t start things you can’t finish, because you don’t promise anything you can’t deliver and because you’re one of the few people who actually mean what they say, who still value words just as much as actions and you’re still one of the few people who choose honesty over approval. You still use your voice even if it will get you in trouble.
Maybe you scare them because you’re not afraid. You’re not afraid to ask for what you want, you’re not afraid to walk away, you’re not afraid of calling them out and you’re not afraid to show your scars, you’re not afraid to bleed in front of them. You’re not afraid to show your vulnerability, to share your difficult stories and talk about the things people try to hide. Maybe you scare them because you see right through them,

You don’t fall for it. You don’t even play these games anymore. You break the rules they invented and you’re not afraid of losing. Losing the game or losing them. You’re not afraid of trying and not getting what you want. Maybe you scare them because they can’t hold anything against you. They can’t say you didn’t try. They can’t say you weren’t’ honest. They can’t say you gave up too easily. They can’t say anything at all.
Maybe you scare them because you remind them of their real fears. You remind them of their commitment issues, of the responsibilities that come with truly loving someone, of the behavior that you expect from someone who should be loyal to you. Maybe you remind them of their first heartbreak, maybe the way you want to love them is the way they loved someone who broke them and they don’t want to break you and maybe they’re incapable of providing the same kind of love you’re willing to give.
But the truth is, you just want them to try, you just want them to take a chance, you just want them to stop making

“Fear, the Best Influential Motivation” In my opinion, the use of fear is a very influential motivation to use. Nothing more than something that scares me will make me do whatever I need to get done, or in this case change me for the better. In the story, “Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God”, the preacher preaches in the sermon basically if you don’t convert to being a godly man/woman you will be sentenced to eternal dam nation which includes burning in a bottomless pit forever.…

One reason fear is a good motivational force that it changes people's behavior. In the story "can kids be scared straight" the author says "visibly shaken, all of the teens in the film vowed that they would rehabilitate their lives; they didn’t want to end up behind bars" (feinstein 28). They made the kids fear what could happen if the they didn’t change their ways, so all of them feared jail and vowed to change their behavior and ways of life. Then in the t.v. show, beyond scared straight Armando changed his life around after a encounter with fear (corcoran). He went on a trip to prison and the prisoners were telling him about life in prison and he feared that, and he changed his behavior so he didn’t have to go to jail and live that horrible life.…

It is not like the hardest puzzle in the world, but it is not the easiest one either. Some children, or adults, in the world are not so lucky, so we have to take the opportunity whenever it arises. Fear is just an opportunity disguised as a challenge. As we take a closer look into our fears, we will find that what she said is true. As we grow up, we witness more and more frightful situations, so that is what caused us to think of such situations.…

Why does nobody talk about how monsters go through puberty? Afterall, everyone has a monster…When I was a kid, monsters only existed within the confinements underneath my bed; they hid in the closet and possessed the bodies of dolls whose frames were too weak to support them. Monsters lurked in the shadows of the night, waiting for the lights to turn off so they could creep alongside the bed, turning dreams into nightmares. I was told children weren’t allowed to roam alone after nightfall because without the presence of an adult, the scent of maturity, children make very easy targets.…

Fear usually motivates human behavior when no second chances are given, but some need realization of how bad their fear actually is. When people are facing their fear, if it is something they fear the most, they will almost always stop the cause whenever possible. In “Quitters. Inc” by Stephen King, Morrison is not allowed to smoke cigarettes anymore, or they will torture him and his family repeatedly until death depending on the amount he smokes. He smokes one impulsively because he has not experienced a fear as bad as being tortured to death, so he smokes a cigarette impulsively and begs for a second chance.…

It is common for children to experience irrational fears. Whether the fear is of the boogieman, monsters, aliens, vampires, or being sucked down the drain, most every child, across the globe, has experienced some type of fear at one point or another. For me, as a child, my fears seemed to come to me at night in the form of nightmares. It could be said that I was a paranoid child. For majority of my childhood, I was convinced that every person outside of my family was trying to kidnap me.…

I have never watched a horror movie on purpose. Never. There is a reason for that. I avoid watching about the “supernatural” world, even though no one would believe those antics on the screen truly exist, nor do I allow my brain to hold on to what I’ve seen. I have made it just fine without a Chuckie movie or the “Bride of Frankenstein.”…

I think that the theme in ¨Monsters are Due on Maple Street¨ by Rod Sterling, is that fear can make you act out in ways that you usually wouldn’t. In the story, a strange object flew over a Maple Street, a part of a neighborhood. All of the power went out, including the cars. The people that lived on that street started blaming other people of calling the monster’s there. They all went crazy.…

It might even result from a combination of factors”(Umbach, 2015). This is sort of hard to acknowledge, it’s human nature to know answers and hard cold facts. When someone is fearful of something it’s completely normal to have butterflies, nervousness, queesiness; the “fight or flight” response. But, the moment that things are turned down or start to avoid things because of fear; that is when this fear is controlled by your own fear and anxiety.…
