The first claim is the possibility of the fake story even though Reverend Nicola says it is a true story and there are people who experienced this horror in the house. Most of the stories are fake that are made by the author. Authors use their imagination to stimulate the readers so more people can enjoy their stories. However, the authors of the book The Amityville Horror insist the book is based on the true story and the house is really haunted by the ghost or demon. Nevertheless, by the SEARCH strategy, there was no realistic and reasonable evidence that can prove the story is true and the house is haunted by the ghost. Stories from the Lutz’s family and the priest cannot be the reasonable evidence because it was not verified. Also, some of the phenomena happened in the house could happen to anyone in everyday life and some phenomena could happen by coincidence. Authors could use their imaginations as others to make the story and they could think some phenomena that can associate to their story. Therefore, this book can be based on the fake story, not a true
