Reverend Hale was afraid to admit that he was wrong about supposed witchcraft in Salem. Way back in Act 1 Hale was so confident that there was witchcraft around. He had so much proof that there were witches around. Later in Act III and Act IV he starting having doubts. He noticed that Governor Danforth was just hanging innocent people. Abigail was making lies after lies in the court and Danforth even started to have doubts but he still stuck to his gut thinking they were witches. There were many others afraid to admit that they were wrong there was Reverend Parris and Judge Hathorne. Parrises nesses were running around accusing people so he knew that they were lying but he didn't say anything. Judge Hathorne was siding with Hale he noticed that the girls kept making things up to only certain people. They wouldn't admit it because they would look like fools. …show more content…
My friend and I were arguing about who got the math problem right on this test. I was so sure that I was right but then later on before we got the tests back I just had a feeling that I was wrong. I was just waiting to get the test back and see if I was right or wrong. Then the next day we had gotten those math testes back and I looked and I was absolutely shocked. I got the problem wrong, I was so angry because I was almost 100 percent positive I had that problem right. I really didn't want her to ask me if I had gotten it right or wrong but then like five minutes later she asked me. I had to say sadly I got it wrong and she was i told you so. I really hate to be wrong it is one of the worst things
