We are a leading manufacturer of shoes, apparels, leather goods such as wallets, belts, watches for man, women and kids. Our journey was initiated as early as 1952 when Nathan Swartz took interest in the Abington Shoe Company, Massachusetts and manufactured shoes with private label for the leading brand for about ten year. In 1973 our brand name “Timberland” was developed by Swartz family, which was followed by making water proof boots with guarantee, under the registered name. Our name was altered to The Timberland Company in 1978 and in the same year we manufactured hand sewn shoes for the first time. The year 1980 is marked with our international venture starting with Italy. In 1989 we got associated with City Year Inc., …show more content…
