As both stories have a closely related subject and purpose, it is with no surprise that their structures share many similar aspects although they have a few differences. First of all, both stories are told from the story teller’s point of view which is also the protagonist in both cases. Moving on, both stories have linear timelines. The stories are both composed of two parts, the first one being a story of their childhood memories where bullying have started and the second one being a jump many years later as the characters of both stories have matured to an adult age. The protagonists are certainly not put in the same situations in a quick comparison but this does not prevent them from sharing some important character traits. First, Greene and Clark are both described as quite weak (mentally) human beings and they certainly do not have many friends to make them feel socially engaged and protected. Where this differs is the reason they are alone, and therefore, the reason why they are bullied. Another very noticeable difference between both protagonists is there reaction towards the bullying coming from their classmates. With his small size, Clark constantly and unsuccessfully tries to avoid being a target of Aubrey but does not seek revenge as he knows he will not be capable of it. This is proven by one of his values he clearly states at the beginning of the story saying that he “believed devoutly

It is a problem that only worsens as the ages climb and can become even suicidal if it gets too severe.…
