When someone does something bad to you; then you feel the need to do something wrong in return, and that is called revenge. Revenge is the action of inflicting hurt or harm on someone for an injury or wrong suffered at their hands. In the tragedy play Hamlet, by William Shakespeare, there is a lot of revenge going on because of death of people. Hamlet tries to seek revenge on Claudius and Laertes wants revenge on Hamlet.
