When the first seal is opened, John sees a white horse with a man on the horse. Many people make the misunderstanding that the man on the white horse is Jesus but it, in fact, is not. The man on the white horse is the antichrist disguising himself as bringing peace to the people on earth. When the second seal is opened, John sees a red horse. The red horse symbolizes blood and war. Therefore, when this seal is opened, a war will break out between Israel and the Arabs and Russia. When the third seal is opened, John sees a black horse with a balance in the rider’s hand. This symbolizes a great famine that will take place on earth when the seal is opened. When the fourth seal is opened, John sees a pale horse and its rider’s name is Death. The war between Israel, the Arabs, and Russia will take many lives. During the first three and a half years of the Great Tribulation, one-fourth of the world’s population will die due to war and the aftermath of war. Therefore, the pale horse represents terrible disasters. When the fifth seal is opened, John sees the martyrs. The sixth seal is opened and John sees the disasters in nature. Immediately after the seal is opened, a great earthquake will take place, the sky will turn black with volcanic ash, and the moon will be a blood red. The book of Revelation says that the earthquake will be so severe that every mountain and island will be moved out of its

Cook offered the most comprehensive defense to the negative interpretation in his article, “4Q246”. Cook states “the Akkadian prophecies provide the most convincing background for 4Q246” and he argues for a direct relationship with these scrolls . The Akkadian prophecies introduced by Cook are a compilation of five works that date from the twelfth-century B.C.E to the Seleucid period . In Cooks article, he highlights twelve traits that Aramaic and Akkadian texts exhibit in common; however, on further examination, Collins reveal that they are not as impressive as they initially seem .…

Chapter twelve Journal Chapter twelve, we close with a great subject that any Christian would love to discuss; Heaven. The ultimate place Christians want to end up for their eternity. However we are not able to enjoy eternal community with God without the imminent judgment. “Judgment is necessary for the liberation of creation from its present situation” (Grenz and Smith, 237). The authors submit that Judgment will be not only on humankind, but also the cosmos, or all of creation and at that point, dos will put back in order His world like he intended it since the beginning.…

Throughout The Bible, passages describe the character of The Antichrist using both direct prophetic allusions and types (typology). Within all these passages, certain themes are discovered again and again. The composite picture paints a fairly simple-minded yet predetermined individual, driven by an insatiable desire for self-elevation and praise. Like Lucifer before him, this obsession will cause The Antichrist to proclaim himself as God’s co-equal, if not higher. Lucifer’s proclamation is recorded in Isaiah 14:13-14: “ 'I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God, and I will sit on the mount of assembly in the recesses of the north.…
