door open for his mother to receive eternal life through a man named Jesus. Such irony can only be found in the life of our Savior. As much as one wanted to run away from the hospital scene, Cass saw a ministry opportunity. She could not empathize only sympathize with those devastated mothers in the neonatal unit. Why did her children get to live while these mothers would soon bury their sick children? She could not offer them any guarantees save the hope found in Jesus. She was His arms and His representative embracing their small frames and praying earnestly over their present condition. She wanted to hear laughter, but all she heard was sobbing. She understood brokenness and could relate to a torn apart heart, but nowhere near the heartbreak of the loss of a child. Revelation 21:4 makes it clear as to the Heavenly atmosphere, “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away" (NIV). She knows a young Nicaraguan mother will be looking forward to seeing her child in Heaven. This little …show more content…
He is the gentleness of a mother; the strength of a father; the companionship of a lover; the closeness of a brother; the quietness of a sister; the laughter of a child; the authority of a ruler; the counsel of a psychologist; the medicine of a doctor; the freedom of a deliver; the signs and wonders of an awesome God; the comfort of the great high priest; and the provisions of a prominent kinsmen redeemer. She has met Him and found Him to be greatness and power while being gentle and kind to her broken heart. On the surface, she would appear to be a degenerate and hopeless individual. God has saved her for His purposes. While it is true she will never be able to minister to those who are not sick and lost sight of their destination, she will be able to guide many to the Great Physician and greatest ever
