Revana 5 Year Contract Case

Provided below is the explanation as to why we agreed to the terms of the agreement that are provided. Each key issue is discussed separately. These are the facts and reasoning behind why we belief this contract is in your best interest.

 Length of Contract

Our initial goal for you was to get a 2-year contract. It became clear that ReVana wanted a longer contract agreement. The company was talking about a 4 or 5-year deal. They were choosing to barter the length of the contract with the signing bonus. If we agreed to a 4-year contract we would get an $850 dollar signing bonus, if we signed a 5-year contract we would receive an $1,000 dollar signing bonus if she met the requirement. If we signed a 3-year contract they threatened to lower

A one month notice before any big events such as commercial/film shoots and public appearances. This gives our client much more notice for these events. In addition, you must now receive 72 hours’ notice if ReVana wants to reschedule a photo shoot or filming session before you only received 48 hours’ notice. However, to get this is it was agreed that if you are late you will have to pay the fees for when you are late. If you notify the company prior you will not have any issues here.

We also thought that after your hard work for the company you deserved vacation days, you will receive 3 paid vacation days and 3 unpaid vacation days (amount paid will be discussed in the compensation section below). To get the amount of vacation days we did have to lower the amount that you would be compensated per day. These vacation days will ensure you have a more flexible schedule and may help ensure that you have enough time off to cover any unfortunate circumstances as well as being well deserved.

We wanted to get you a 3% stake but compromised to this agreement because this amount should still be very lucrative and motivational for you throughout your future with the company.

You mentioned that you wanted to be paid for public appearances which we initially sought to get you $2,500 for every public appearance but ended up receiving $1,500 per appearance, to receive this we agreed that you will have to sign autographs at appearances.

The desire for an option of an advanced payment was mentioned. So, we managed to get you the option of $5,000 advanced payment every month. This was agreed upon if you are not late and show up otherwise you will have to pay the $5,000

businesses would be less than likely to receive paid vacation, and only 86% of employees in medium businesses would receive paid vacations ("center for economic and policy research," 2013). Although there is not much information on what should be included in employee policy handbook, it is obvious that an employee handbook would be a way of making sure that employees know about company policies, benefits their rights, company rules, and compensation. Regardless of a business size or what type of company they are, there are specific policies that should be included in their employee manual/handbook. Internet Use Training should be considered for employees by the businesses they work for so that employees are aware of the company policies. Employees are given handbooks and policies are presented during orientation and then it is left up to the employee to read their policy handbook.…

Peggy must determine the amount of pledge she feels comfortable with in order to keep the building construction on schedule. Peggy’s resistance point (pg. 29 in book) is not making a deal with Peter and having the board take him to court because this would it would be personally embarrassing to Peggy and would not bring good publicity to MCA.
