Did you known it takes about 2-3 weeks for the lungs first defense, the cellular lining walls, to regenerate. And about a year for the lungs deeper tissue, the alveoli, to regenerate. To help your lungs function properly you should be detoxing them.

Regular breathing exercise is the most advised method for detoxing the lungs. Just breathing deeply for a minute or two will help improve the health and maintain lung strength and wellness. Keep in mind the air you are breathing does make a difference, so the better quality air will give you better result.

Beside breathing exercise, eating these foods will help in the detoxification of the lungs
