Retired Colonel Doru Paraschiv has been threatened directly and constantly but moreso has been and is deprived of his fundamental right to live due to lack of the material means due to the function he previously held. The most serious thing about this matter is the lack of access to a fair and impartial judgement through the manipulation parts of the judiciary system that had his cause in their view.

The Board of Directors of the Romanian Imprisonment Watch has decided to give Retired Colonel Doru Paraschiv the legal assistance and representation in front of the European Committee for Human Rights.
Romanian Imprisonment Watch will offer authorised institutions, at their request, copies of the legal actions with the evidence and documents that were anexed and offered to us by Retired Colonel Doru Paraschiv, which we choose not to make public at this time but reserve the right to do so in the future.
Romanian Imprisonment Watch was created through the application of its 7th article, registerd in the Registry of Associations and Foundations of the Sector 1 Court, number 60/1992, article which establishes the following objectives:
