Diabetic retinopathy is a major cause of adult blindness due to changes in blood vessel structure and distribution such as new vessel growth proliferative diabetic retinopathy which requires lengthy analysis from a specialist. Endeavoring is to reduce the effect of proliferative diabetic retinopathy includes obtaining and analyzing images of the optic at regular intervals.
