Black Jesus: Creator of Watermelonadia Before there were humans and Watermelonadia there was one being. His name was Black Jesus. Black Jesus had whole closet full of various shades of brown robes, that was the only thing he ever wore. Black Jesus lived in his mansion that floated through space and time.…
Jealousy comes when one's focus is taken off God and put upon the world. Hebrews 13:4 states “but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.” God's Word also states in I Corinthians 3:17 “if any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy.” The purity of mankind should be maintained, therefore the jealous husband was to bring her before the priest who would carry out all the law. Devils love the destruction of relations between a man and his wife.…
We have here, recorded by Luke, the death of Stephen. The first Christian martyr. Stephen was one of the first seven men chosen to be deacons by the early church. God accomplished a lot through Stephen in a very short period of time. Even though Stephen was a man of great spiritual power he also suffered greatly because of his relationship with Jesus.…
of the faithful, thank you for another chance to be the salt of the earth. The light of the world for your mighty glory! Thank you for sending your warning angels before us that all of hell gins may know, that you and you only is Sovereign Rulers of all the Earth, we thank you for giving us the victory, going out and coming in! Thank you for these Young Sabbath Keepers before me; let us go with your shield of protection, boldly proclaiming Jesus in the Hood! The return of our King is at hand, in Christ authority we pray, Amen!”…
There once was a man named Thomas who like billions of others, was waiting for his chance to go to earth. Heavenly Father is creating man on Earth for the first time and Thomas was ready. The promised plan was for all of Heavenly Father’s spirit children to have a chance to go to Earth, receive mortal bodies, have agency to choose between right and wrong and be tested on Earth, and then return back to Heavenly Father when our time on Earth was over. But there was a catch. He said they wouldn’t remember anything due to a veil that was placed on their heads.…
IV. The Call for the Reconsideration of the Historicity of the Bodily Nature of Jesus’s Resurrection and Its Eschatological Implications Thus, I now turn to the matter of the historical credibility of Jesus’ “bodily resurrection” and its eschatological implications. Unlike Peacocke and Keller’s view of the bodily resurrection of Jesus, it is “credible” or “well-motivated belief” that the resurrection of Jesus was a “bodily” event that happened to Jesus based on the two traditions of many eyewitnesses and Jesus’ empty tomb. On the basis of these traditions, according to N.T. Wright, the early Christians understood the resurrection neither Jesus’ “perceived status in the ongoing church”, nor his “heavenly and exalted status”, nor “the passage of the human Jesus into the power of God”, but affirmed his “bodily resurrection.”…
In this painting called "The Raising of Lazarus" by Andrea Vacco, the audience's attention is drawn towards the three people with the "light" on them: Jesus, Lazarus, and Martha. The artist's decision to have the light on Martha shows that she was the sister who the audience should try to exemplify. We should "go forth by faith, hope, and prayer, to meet" Jesus like Martha did rather than Mary, who waited in the house. Moreover, the light on Martha shows that she is the better example for us to follow. Unlike the first painting, Lazarus is clearly alive and beginning to undress.…
The activities of the 18th century body-snatchers are among the most lurid and entertaining episodes in the history of medicine and have been cataloged exhuastively by scholars and popularizers of all kinds. Today, however, when the ethics of research on humans has become a critical problem in medical philosophy and when relations between the public and the profession appear to be deteriorating, it is instructive to take another look at this period of medical history, when many current ethical problems first became issues of widespread concern. Both a cause and a product of the frictions that existed between physicians and the public in 18th century England, the resurrection trade may be viewed as a bizarre example of what can happen when a…
Body Snatchers in the 1800’s In the book Frankenstein by Mary Shelley our main protagonist, Victor Frankenstein, steals body parts from dissecting rooms as well as getting the parts from charnel houses during the 1800’s in order to complete his creation. What Victor was doing was called grave robbing and at the time grave robbing was a common occurrence. It was common only in part to the medical fields need for bodies.…
After the advancement of tools became a major step in the Victorian era, the method of dissecting bodies for criminal work began to be explored. Sherlock was known for working with dead bodies and working with cadavers, yet he was not the first to adopt this method of crime work. Before Sherlock's method became known, Giovanni Battista Morgagni changed the way the idea of dissecting bodies for criminal work purposes would be looked at (Wagner, 4). Before Morgagni's idea came to be, the thought of anatomy and working with cadavers had a bad reputation even though the work was fascinating (Wagner, 5). Yet, working with cadavers and the method of dissecting a cadaver for criminal work would soon become a popular method.…
How was the sickness and death of Lazarus for the glory of God, and for the glory of His son? The sickness and death of Lazarus was for the glory of God and for the glory of His son because this was the most important miracle that Jesus needed to perform. This miracle displayed his power, and he needed the people to believe that he was the son of God. 2.…

"The Resurrectionist" is a biography of Dr. Spencer Black, a renowned scientist whose work on bizarre mutations and creatures drove him to madness. Written by E. B. In chapter 5, I learned that as a Christian I believe Christ truly died and truly rose from the dead. (p. 127) Which is super important because that is the core of my faith, it makes me who I am today, it is truly amazing! “Without the Resurrection, there would have been no redemption; without the Resurrection of Christ, we would have had no resurrection of our own to anticipate; without the Resurrection of Christ, there would have been no victory over sin and death, and all of humanity would have remained in bondage to sin.” (p. 127)…
In this essay, I will be talking about what I believe to be true from what Jesus tells us in the Bible, about being the Son of God and how He was here to die on the cross for our sins, showing everyone who He was and who ever believe in Him is save, or healed if they were sick. In this paper, I will be talking about the trustworthiness and historicity of the Gospels. The historical reliability of the Gospel accounts of Jesus’ miracles, and did Jesus claim to be God. Did his disciples believe he was God? The accuracy of the resurrection accounts in the Gospels, that is, did Jesus rise bodily from the dead?…
