This part shows all the data gathered by the students after certain experimentations were done. These tests will be utilized as a basis in determining which body gel between the two brands specifically Baylis and Harding Royale Bouquet and Silka, is more effective and efficient product to use than the other one.
Experimentation 1: Determining which Body Gel has smoother and more fragrant effect

This process lasted for two (2) minutes. Meanwhile, inevitable changes regarding both gels’ appearances after the first minute were observed by the students. The Baylis and Harding Royale Bouquet Shower Gel seems to be similar to a moisturizer based on its texture after being further rubbed for a minute. On the other hand, the Silka Body Wash seems to coagulate after it was further rubbed. Its fluid gel solidified, on the action of rubbing for a minute.

The third figure shows the appearance of both gel applied to the tester’s hand, after two (2) minutes. From the Baylis and Harding Royale Bouquet Shower Gel’s from a transparent color, the said gel became whitish. Additionally, the students noticed that the gel from this brand quite solidifies after two (2) minutes. However, it still had soft and thin texture. On the other hand, the Silka Body Wash also obtained white color from its original orange one after gentle rubbing. The students discovered that Silka Body Wash was able to more quickly emulsify the water and oil mixture, rather than Baylis and Harding Royale Bouquet Shower Gel. As a matter of fact, an amount 5 ml of body gel from Silka wash was added to oil and water these two to mix. On the other hand, 7.5 ml of body gel from Baylis and Harding Royale Bouquet was needed in order for the water and oil to be entirely mixed.
Soap is a unique substance of potassium fatty acid salts, produced through a chemical reaction called saponification. Its molecules are made up of a hydrocarbon chain, which is non-polar, as well as a carboxylate molecule which is polar. Therefore, the non-polar part of the soap – the hydrocarbon chain, is not attracted to water but to oil (lipophilic). On the other hand, the carboxylate molecules which are negatively charged, are attracted to the positively charged water molecules
