While the, ACCs, Responsible Care® initiative does great things for ACC’s public relations, it’s not just about public relations. Because the ACC addresses a lot of disaster planning and response, I would be primarily concerned with long term effects on humans and the environment. Has the community seen an increase in birth defects, or seen an overall health decline? The same for the animal populations. I’d also like to know the plants long term plans for the community, in scenarios both with and without a disaster. In the case of a plant issue, that required emergency response, what will they do after the initially emergency to help the community, correct their mistakes, and ensure it never happens
