(S)He is the commander and chief of the military and is in charge of all military operations. The leader of the nation needs to bring peace to the United States and passes laws. All generals and admirals take orders from the president on what they should do. He also controls where ships go, how weapons are used and where solider should go and much more. She/he could send ships to destroy a terrorist base or send the Air Force to bombard a ship. The chief legislator is also the president. He cannot make laws, but he can influence congressman to pass laws in times of urgency. He could have dinner with a congressman to tell him to make a law. He can also urge them to veto laws that are not good for the nation or the president does not like.
The Chief Guardian of the Economy of the United States of America is the president. The president needs to be worried about the economy which includes the unemployment rate, high prices and taxes. The President always wants the unemployment rate low to show that the economy is improving. The president does not control the economy, but he/she wants it to be successful.
