Responsibility Of Love In Romeo And Juliet

Love is a really big responsibility that people have, it can force you to take the worse or the best turns. Romeo and Juliet is a play by William Shakespeare, this play is set in Verona, the two star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet, meet, but there is a big feud between their families, the Montagues and the Capulets. Due to the family feud, the two lovers make unpleasant decisions, which causes them to eventually die. Sometimes love wins, and sometimes it loses. The lover’s decisions make the play more interesting to read. Love is stronger throughout the play, because that’s how they meet, their strength is also love, and other’s love Romeo and Juliet so they decide to help them out. Love is the main reason why Romeo and Juliet get together, even though their families hate each other. When Romeo goes to see Juliet, he is ready to become a glove so he can touch Juliet’s cheek. This shows the true love between them, Romeo decalees this. “See, how she leans her cheek upon her hand!/ O, that I were a glove upon that hand,/ that I might touch that cheek!” (2.2.23-25) Their true love gives them the power to make such decisions, which makes the play interesting to read. Romeo purposes to Juliet to get married,this could be really risky for them, Romeo says to Juliet, “The exchange of thy love’s faithful vow for mine.” (2.2.127) Romeo and Juliet make a big dangerous decision to get married. Juliet puts her life in danger by drinking a potion that can possibly kill her, but she believes in her love’s strength to do so. Before drinking the potion she says, “Romeo, I come! This do I drink to thee.” (4.3.58) Their love can be inspiring for other people out there. Their love was pretty strong, that it gave theme the strength to make hard and dangerous
